Bringing We Do Tennis into one digital home
We Do Tennis had grown into a national organisation across three websites. We brought its presence together into a single, consistent home, designed around how people actually look for tennis: by place.

A growing organisation, spread across three sites
We Do Tennis C.I.C. works with tennis venues, coaches and players across England and Wales. They run coaching, venue support, court maintenance and coach development, along with community programmes including Rebound, their diversity and inclusion arm.
Like many organisations that grow quickly, We Do Tennis had built its online presence one need at a time. The result was three websites, each with its own structure, and a visitor experience that relied on knowing where to look. To a coach, a parent or a venue partner, the organisation appeared more fragmented than it really was.
The brief was to present We Do Tennis as one organisation: a single, consistent home, true to the brand, that kept everything of value and respected the links people already relied on.
Three websites
Each built at a different stage, with its own page structure.
Content in many places
Venues, parks, coaching and programmes held on separate sites.
Links already in circulation
Addresses shared across social media, email signatures and printed materials.

What we did
We began with the people the site serves rather than the pages it held. Most visitors arrive with one question, where can I play, so we made that the centre of the experience and organised everything else around it. Every section was then brought into a single design language, so the organisation reads as one from the first page to the last.
Built around place
Visitors search by town or postcode and see nearby venues on an interactive map, ordered by distance. 92 venue pages and 31 park pages sit behind it, each with its own map and session details.
One design language
Coaching, coach development, recruitment and every community programme were brought into one consistent design system, so each part of the organisation is presented with the same clarity and care. 161 pages in total.
Commerce within the brand
The shop sits inside the same site and the same visual identity, with card payments, Klarna, Apple Pay and Google Pay at checkout.
Continuity for every audience
Former addresses were mapped to their new home, so links shared over the years lead people to the right page. Both former domains now forward to the main site, carrying visitors through to the specific page they were looking for.
A considered launch
The new site was tested end to end on its live server before the public switchover, which allowed us to resolve details privately and launch with confidence.
Accessible by design
Accessibility was designed in from the start rather than added at the end. The site was built and tested to WCAG AA standards, covering colour contrast, readable type, keyboard navigation and clearly structured pages, and was reviewed and approved by We Do Tennis before launch.
Built for the team to run
We trained the We Do Tennis team and gave them a pre-launch portal, a launch checklist and an interactive online guide to the website. The whole team now updates and manages the site with confidence, with continuous support from us since launch.
One experience, on every screen

The outcome
We Do Tennis now presents as one organisation, with a single home for coaching, venues, parks and community programmes across England and Wales. Partners and funders see a clear, consistent picture of the work. For players, finding somewhere to play starts with a postcode. Behind the scenes, the We Do Tennis team runs the site themselves, supported by training, an online guide and ongoing support from us.
One organisation, one digital home, and a team equipped to run it.
